The King Fahd University Scholarships 2025 applications are open to international students from all over the world. Exceptional graduate applicants with high GPAs may be admitted as full-time MS or Ph.D. students with full scholarships. Scholarships are available for all Ph.D. and limited MS programs without corresponding doctoral options.

Eligibility Criteria
While applying for King Fahd University Scholarships in Saudi Arabia, candidates must fulfill the requirements listed below:
MS Programs in Engineering or Sciences:
- A four-year Bachelor’s (B.S.) Degree in engineering or science from a recognized institution with a major in the proposed field or evidence of appropriate background for joining the proposed field.
- GPA of 3.00 or better on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Scholarship Applicants) or 2.50 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Non-Scholarship Applicants).
- TOEFL completion with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT). TOEFL results must be sent directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (KFUPM code 0868). IELTS is also valid (minimum score of 6.0), Duolingo (min 105).
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from academics who taught university-level courses to the candidate. [to be sent via the online referral system]
- Meeting any further departmental or university admission requirements satisfactorily.
 MS Programs in Bussiness Administration:
- A four-year Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S., or B.E.) degree from a recognized business, engineering, or science institution.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent. Final admittance requires official transcripts and degree certificates.
- TOEFL completion with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT). TOEFL results must be sent directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (KFUPM code 0868). IELTS is also valid [minimum score of 6.0].
- The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) must be completed with a minimum score of 450. GMAT scores must be transmitted directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (KFUPM GMAT code is 0868).

- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from faculty members who taught the applicant’s undergraduate classes. [to be sent via the online referral system]
- At least one college-level calculus course that covers both differentiation and integration topics.
- A working knowledge of computers demonstrated by at least one course in that area (e.g., data processing, programming, information systems, and so on).
- Three years of full-time job experience is required. Graduate assistants, research assistants, and applicants with extraordinary academic records may be exempt from this requirement.
- Meeting any further departmental or university admission requirements satisfactorily.
Master’s Admission Requirements (MX):
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum GPA: 2.5/4.0 or equivalent.
- English proficiency:
- IELTS: 6+
- TOEFL: 70+
- Duolingo: 105+
(Waived for KFUPM graduates and graduates from English-speaking countries: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand)
- Two recommendation letters.
- Non-refundable fee: SAR 100 + VAT.
- Statement of Purpose (one page on career and research goals).
PhD Programs:
- M.S. degree in engineering/science with a relevant background.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 in both B.S. and M.S. degrees.
- English proficiency:
- TOEFL: 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), 80 (IBT)
- IELTS: 6.5+
- Duolingo: 120+
(Waived for KFUPM graduates and graduates from English-speaking countries)
- Two recommendation letters from faculty.
- Additional departmental requirements may apply.
