The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and Türkiye’s Ministry of Youth and Sports are hosting the 7th ICYF International Young Volunteers Camp from April 28 – May 10, 2025, in Antalya, Türkiye. This camp equips young volunteers with psychosocial support skills to aid recovery efforts in humanitarian crises and natural disasters across OIC regions.
Why Does This Camp Matter?
Young volunteers play a crucial role in post-disaster recovery, providing emotional support and strengthening community resilience. This camp fosters skill development, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility, preparing participants to assist in crises effectively.
Key Objectives:
- Psychosocial Support Training – Empathy, crisis intervention, stress management.
- Post-Disaster Preparedness – Emergency planning, first aid, risk assessment.
- Community Service Awareness – Encouraging active social engagement.
- Teamwork & Leadership – Building collaboration and leadership skills.
- Stronger Social Bonds – Creating a global support network among volunteers.

Benefits
All participants in the ICYF Young Volunteer Camp will receive the following items:
- Organizers cover accommodation, food, and local transport in Antalya.
- Up to $250 reimbursement for international travel expenses.
- Up to 3500 TL reimbursement for domestic travel (for participants in Türkiye).
- City tour and cultural activities included.
- Certificate of Participation awarded upon full completion of the camp.
- Networking opportunities with like-minded volunteers and experts
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be citizens of an OIC Member/Observer State or part of a Muslim community in non-OIC countries.
- Be aged between 18–35 years.
- Have basic English proficiency for effective communication.
- Be interested in disaster relief, humanitarian work, or youth empowerment.
- Be willing to participate fully in the camp’s training program.
- Have previous volunteering experience (certificates are a plus).
- Demonstrate leadership skills and a passion for social impact.
Note: Only selected participants will be notified of their acceptance.
Selection Process
The application procedure will benefit as follows:
- Applications will be evaluated based on eligibility and criteria.
- An online interview may be conducted if further information is needed.
- Selected participants will receive an email confirmation with camp details.
- Results will be announced on the ICYF website and social media.
- Only selected participants will receive an acceptance email.
