The Global Youth Ambassadors GYA program by TheirWorld Organization is a network of young campaigners and social entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 who are united in their commitment to social justice and the right to education. It’s a two-year program that helps young people all across the world fight for their right to education in their communities, countries, and beyond.

There are 4 main components to the program:

1. Community
   •  It provides a great opportunity for young people to be a part of a supportive network that shares and supports one other’s work, campaigns, and accomplishments.
2. Opportunities
   •  GYAs will have the opportunity to participate in campaigns and lead their own actions to promote the right to education. Learn about high-level events and decision-making platforms where you may have a say in important educational debates.
   
3. Building your knowledge
   •  Members of the network get access to the most up-to-date information on global education and what needs to be done to make SDG 4 a reality: excellent, inclusive education for all children.
   •  You’ll be able to get the information you need to talk eloquently about the education issue.
   
4. Developing your skills
   •  GYAs can take advantage of specialized training designed by GYAs, for GYAs. There’s something to help you take your advocacy abilities to the next level, whether you’re new to education activism or have been advocating on it for years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• At the time of application, you must be between the ages of 18 and 28.
• Have a strong desire to improve educational opportunities and youth skills.
• Have a basic understanding of the English language (verbal and written). This is critical because all email and social media contact is conducted in English.
• You must be able to access the internet on a daily basis.
