Opportunity Description
The Gruber Foundation of of Yale University s seeking recommendations for anyone whose contributions to Genetics, Cosmology, or Neuroscience qualify them for consideration for the Gruber International Prize Program in 2023.
- Cosmology Prize: Every year, astronomy, cosmology, mathematics, and scientific philosophy experts are encouraged to submit nominations for the Cosmology Prize. Nominations can be made by those who are engaged in or enjoy current cosmological research and study.
- Genetic Prize: The discipline of genetics is asked to submit nominations for the Genetics Prize every year. Anyone who participates in or appreciates modern genetic research or problems is eligible to nominate someone.
- Neuroscience Prize: Every year, anyone interested in current neuroscience research and study is encouraged to submit nominations for the Neuroscience Prize.

Prizes
- Each prize, which comes with a $500,000 unrestricted cash grant, is intended to honor outstanding contributions in each subject and to spur further work that will fundamentally alter knowledge and culture.
Eligibility
- The Neuroscience Prize is open to anybody in the globe who has performed exceptionally noteworthy research on the brain, spinal cord, or peripheral nervous system.
- The Genetics Prize is open to applicants with novel findings in genetic function, regulation, transmission, variation, or genomic organization.
- The Cosmology Prize is open to applicants whose work has made fundamental strides in understanding the universe’s creation and evolution.
Required Documents
The language of submission for all nominees is English.
- Fill-out the nomination forms:
- The Neuroscience Prize Nomination form
- The Genetics Prize Nomination form
- The Cosmology Prize Nomination form
- A recent resume without a complete list of publications
- A letter of recommendation from someone who isn’t affiliated with the nominee’s university or research group (this must be from someone other than the nominator)
