Opportunity Description
The Global Fellows in Courage (GFiC) is a unique six-month accelerator program designed to support emerging leaders committed to advocating for social justice and equality worldwide.
GFiC, in strategic partnership with Brown University’s Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies (CHRHS), equips social entrepreneurs aged 25-35 with critical knowledge, resources, and a global network to enhance their effectiveness. The Program fosters leadership development through online training, mentorship, and real-world project implementation.
With a strong emphasis on advocacy, innovation, and strategic communication, GFiC aims to accelerate the impact of 45 selected Fellows in 2025. The Program includes a $2,500 stipend upon completion and offers additional grant funding of up to $10,000 for project advancement.

Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply for this accelerator program?
- Applicants must be 25 to 35 years old, with possible exceptions
- Minimum of three years of experience in human rights advocacy, activism, social entrepreneurship, or community organizing
- Demonstrated commitment to gender justice or related fields
- Strong command of English (Program conducted in English)
- Must be able to commit to all program activities
Program Expectations
Fellows must commit to all program activities, as failure to do so may affect grant eligibility. Expectations include:
- Attend Sessions: Two 3-hour Zoom meetings per month for discussions and skill-building.
- Complete Pre-work: Videos, readings, and short assignments (4-6 hours/month)
- Work on a Project: Develop and present a project by the final session.
- Access Coaching: Join group coaching and meet with an individual coach twice monthly.
