The Global Engagement Summit (GES) is now accepting applications for 2025. The GES empowers young change-makers to develop original and long-lasting solutions to common global issues. It accomplishes this by coordinating grant opportunities, establishing mentorships, delivering training, and bringing forward-thinking thought leaders to interact with motivated students.

Held every April at Northwestern University, The Summit is a five-day conference where global delegates present change-based projects addressing education and sustainability issues. Whether a project is in the idea phase or already in motion, the Summit helps delegates refine and expand their impact.

Delegates participate in workshops and receive personalized mentoring, leaving them with practical skills, strategies, and connections to further their projects. Past successes include an arts education center in Cambodia and a U.S. initiative reducing food waste by connecting dining halls with local pantries.

GES stands out for its personalized impact, thanks to its student-led design. However, students don’t have all the answers, so we bring professionals to guide workshops and provide mentorship. Our facilitators, from nonprofit consultants to startup CEOs, offer valuable feedback through their industry expertise.

Delegates engage with these experts in small workshops, seminars, and one-on-one mentoring sessions. Facilitators from around the globe come specifically to work with delegates, building lasting professional connections that extend beyond the Summit.
