The GELA Prestigious Global Mentorship Program is now accepting applications. The Prestigious Global Foreign Mentorship Programme (PGMP), formerly known as WAFMP, assists in finding, developing, and deploying impeccable and skilled leaders into politics, business, and public service among youths aged 18 to 35 whose voices have not been heard for decades, including the extremely marginalized, people of color, and those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.

GELA is an international organization in Nigeria dedicated to ensuring every youth has equal access to employability skills and career mentorship. Aiming to bridge the global youth unemployment gap, GELA uses a unique hybrid and globally collaborative model to reach numerous youths locally.

GELA focuses on training, certifying, and deploying disadvantaged youths aged 18-35 from urban areas who are passionate about becoming future leaders but face unemployment or underemployment. Through a gamified platform, GELA provides a safe space for these youths to compete, upgrade their skills, and earn rewards.

The GELA African project has impacted nearly 5,000 young people in West Africa. Their digital hub (www.gelaofficial.org) offers accessible live sessions, audio and video records, and text documents on soft skills, technology, and leadership delivered by global mentors.

The Prestigious Global Foreign Mentorship Programme (PGMP), formerly WAFMP, identifies, trains, and mentors youths aged 18-35, including marginalized and socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals, to become political, business, and civil service leaders. PGMP aims to groom global leaders across all sectors, and the GELA Skillup-360 project now includes youths worldwide.

Annually, 80-100 participants are selected globally for a program valued at $100 per participant but offered free to the most passionate candidates. Selected youths receive a free access code, mentorship, and training. Upon completion, they can obtain a certificate, indicated during a post-program survey.
