Opportunity Description

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) Funds for Journalists Covering Biodiversity Conferences 2022 are now open for applications. Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) provides travel grants to journalists interested in attending and reporting on biodiversity-related conferences and global summits in 2022, including those related to the UN Convention on Biodiversity (UNCBD). Despite the uncertainty surrounding travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EJN believes it is critical for journalists from various countries, particularly those from the Global South, to attend and report directly from these pivotal decision-making spaces long as they can do so safely. Arcadia Fund’s generous support makes these scholarships possible.
