Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet these requirements:

• Applicants must be a foreign citizen living outside of Russia
• Age between 16 and 22 years old
• Proficiency in Russian Language at a minimum level of A2
• Teams must consist of 5 members
• Each team must have a trainer who is a teacher or lecturer of the Russian Language.

Selection Process

The selection process is as follows:

• Advanced Training for Trainers: Online master classes are available to prepare trainers.
• Qualification Stage: Online lexical and grammar test.
• Selection Round: Written assignments to assess understanding of texts.
• 1/16 Finals: Remote team stage focusing on Russian geography, culture, and language.
• Quarterfinals: Online debates and logic challenges.
• Semi-final and Final: Held in Saint Petersburg, focusing on more advanced linguistic challenges.
