Opportunity Description
Applications are open for the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) to international students at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences. Participants can develop new skills and receive hands-on experience in their chosen profession while working alongside outstanding senior scientists.
Fellowship recipients will be involved in the daily operations of a research unit, primarily to assist in resolving problems typically part of larger research endeavors. Often, this will entail executing difficult programming or design tasks to demonstrate new concepts. Accepted students will receive a monthly living allowance of CHF 1,800. (pro rata to the actual duration) and reimbursement for travel expenses (2nd class train ticket or low-cost/economy aircraft).
Students enrolling in BSc, BTech, MSc, MTech, or similar Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering programs are eligible for fellowships. PhD candidates are not qualified. Applicants must be engaged in their second year of study or higher at the time of application (all applicants must have completed at least their first year of study). Students with outstanding academic records are given priority consideration for projects.

Who Can Participate?
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Students in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, or electrical engineering BSc, BTech, MSc, MTech, or equivalent programs can apply for fellowships.
- D. candidates are not eligible.
- Applicants must be engaged in their second year of study or higher at the time of application (all applicants must have completed at least their first year of study).
- Students with outstanding academic records are given priority consideration for projects.
