Benefits of the CERN Administrative Student Program
You have much to offer CERN regarding knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm. In exchange, CERN will provide you with the following:
- A two to twelve-month association contract.
- A monthly payment of 3407 Swiss Francs (net of tax).
- A stipend for the trip.
- Depending on your unique situation, you may be eligible for a supplement if you’re married and have kids.
- Coverage under the extensive health insurance program at CERN (the contribution will be automatically deducted from your allowance).
- 2,5 paid vacation days each month.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a citizen of CERN’s Member or Associate Member countries mentioned above.
- For consideration, candidates must have finished 18 months of undergraduate coursework toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- The candidates must specialize in an administrative field at the internship time.
- A minimum of two months and a maximum of twelve months must pass before the candidate can stay full-time.
- The internship must be done while the applicants are enrolled as full-time students.
- The candidate must speak either French or English well.
- Students majoring in STEM or engineering fields are ineligible.
