The Shapers Development Agency (SDA), led by the Paris Hub of the Global Shapers Community, invites applications for a new initiative supporting grassroots development efforts in Official Development Aid (ODA)-recipient countries.

This call targets Global Shapers Hubs and their partners, such as grassroots NGOs, social entrepreneurs, and community associations, who are driving impactful local projects. Selected projects will receive tailored support to apply for the Fall 2025 Micro Projects Agency funding, with potential grants ranging from €3,000 to €20,000.

Through this initiative, SDA aims to strengthen project capacity, build inter-hub collaborations, and expand a global network of changemakers committed to reducing inequalities and improving lives. Applications are open from June 5 to 19, 2025. Projects not selected this cycle may still benefit from future opportunities and ongoing expert support.

Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply?

• Must be a Global Shapers hub or local partner in an ODA-recipient country
• Must have a development project aimed at reducing inequality or improving lives/environment
• Preference goes to projects with clear structure, autonomy, and impact
• Projects must not fall under ineligible categories (e.g., emergency relief, feasibility studies, one-off events, etc.)
