For the spring 2022 Term, which begins in January 2022, Asian University for Women (AUW) has announced up to 250 additional scholarships for Afghan nationals. These scholarships are for women from all 34 provinces of Afghanistan, representing a variety of ethnic origins. Only Afghan natives are eligible for these special scholarships. The scholarships cover five years of accommodation and board, tuition, primary health care, book and supply costs, an on-campus work-study job to help with personal expenditures, and one round-trip ticket from Kabul to Chittagong, where AUW is located. At least 10 of the 250 scholarships available to Afghan nationals have been set aside for members of the Kuchi community.

Eligibilities:

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must:

• Have finished SSC/Class 10 and have a total of ten years of schooling.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to working for positive social change
• Belong to a community that is part of an AUW-sponsored category.
• Participation in extracurricular activities and public service has showed leadership potential or
• A collaborating organization has sponsored and/or nominated you.
