Opportunity Description

Asia Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding-APCEIU invites educators from Official Development Aid (ODA) recipient countries to apply for Global Capacity-Building Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED). This Workshop comprises online intensive training opportunities for participants by providing a venue where global educators meet, discuss, and share GCED. Additionally, upon completing the Workshop, participants will have a chance for ‘grant’ and ‘mentoring’ opportunities by submitting a project proposal on GCED.”

Objectives of the Workshop:

The following are the primary objectives of the APCEIU Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED:

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements and eligibility criteria to be eligible for the online Global Capacity-Building Workshop:

  • Applicants should be professional educators with at least three years of experience, including formal and informal ones
  • Complete the e-learning courses titled “Prerequisite course for Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED 2023” on GCED Online Campus.
  • Be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Committed and potential to implement GCED training programs within three months after participation in the Workshop
  • Access to required equipment such as computer and stable access to the internet
