Opportunity Description
The King’s College London is accepting applications for the Alexandros Petersen Scholarship from Afghans, Central Asians, or South Caucasus applicants. This Scholarship provides the best and brightest students with the opportunity to continue their M.A. in Conflict, Development, and Security in the Department of War Studies.
Alexandros Petersen’s family has funded this Scholarship at King’s since its establishment in September 2016 with a transformative USD 1 million gift. This program will fund 22 complete master’s scholarships for masters of art students in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
Students whose work reflects Alexandros’s aims and ambitions are eligible to apply. The college hopes this program will preserve Alexandros’s personal and academic memory and encourage many young people to continue their master’s studies.
Scholarships are open to residents of the mentioned regions to undertake a one-year master’s program in Conflict, Security, and Development. By applying to the program, each student will benefit from a full tuition fee waiver, a £2,000 travel bursary, and a monthly stipend of £20,000. One Scholarship is available each year.
