Opportunity Description

The Abstracted.art, in collaboration with Kaleido, an art platform and community, established an abstract art showcase. The best abstracts will win cash prizes in different amounts. The awards started from $100 up to $1,000 at the end.

This virtual art prize mainly aims to promote abstract artists worldwide and make a more comprehensive art community.

Benefits

The participants will be able to establish an art network and improve their abstract artistic skills. In addition, four winners will receive cash prizes as follows:

  1. First place: $1,000
  2. Second place: $700
  3. Third place: $300
  4. Honourable mentions: $100

Note: Artists can keep the ownership of their artworks and the right to their image. They can even submit their sold artworks.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Participants’ age must be at least 18 years old
  • Participants’ portfolios should include at least five abstracts
  • You can only submit your artwork in the form of Abstract

How to Apply

Applicants who wish to apply for this program need to follow the below steps:

  1. Create a Kaleido account using your computer; not mobile devices
  2. Submit at least five abstracts in Kaleido. The more artworks you upload, the more you can increase your winning chance
  3. Submit the link to your Kaleido profile

Selection Procedure

The selection jury will judge the artists’ submitted abstracts based on their skill and technique. The jury not only considers your skills but also would connect to your artwork. So, you can add audio about yourself as an artist and process images and videos in your work.
