In 2009, Ghalib, the first private higher education institution was established in Herat. This academic institution was upgraded to a university in 2014 and now five faculties: Medical Medicine, Dentistry, Law and Political Science, Economics and Computer Science, are relentlessly striving for the flourishing of contemporary knowledge and tirelessly striving for the excellence of expertise.
