The midwife is in charge of carrying out nutrition and health initiatives through mothers’ groups, community health points, and public awareness campaigns. She must, in particular, provide antenatal and postnatal care, basic healthcare for mothers, and education on nutrition for both mothers and their offspring. She will also promote awareness within the community. She will continue to coordinate with the community, stakeholders, and elders in the area. She will give the medical doctor the necessary support.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have the following:

• Graduated from the Institute of Midwifery. It is preferred to have a bachelor’s degree in midwifery.
• Two years or more in the relevant field of experience
• Capable in the regional tongues.
• It is preferred to have prior MCH experience.
• It is preferred to have prior BPHS experience.
• Readiness to pick up new abilities.
• Good sense of teamwork
• Solid Knowledge of Dari and Pashto
