Afghanistan Master’s and PhD programs registration opens for 1404 (2025)

Application Fee:
- Master’s Program: 500 AFN
- Doctorate (PhD) Program: 1000 AFN

Applicants can download the registration form from the official NEXA website and must submit it with the required documents as outlined in the procedures.

Important Guidelines for Completing the Form

It is mandatory to pass the International language proficiency (Arabic or English) exam to participate in professional exam. Choosing one of the languages (English or Arabic) is required for programs that the selection of language is optional.
Candidates must indicate their preference for Pashto or Dari language for programs where the language of instruction is the national language.
The selected program must align with the applicant’s prior academic qualifications. Fill the form with complete details such as university, faculty, department, and code.
Type of Competition: Only current academic staff and Ministry of Higher Education employees are eligible to participate in the master batch; need to get a confirmation of the type of competition. Independent applicants do not need this confirmation.

Note: No other documents, including letters from supervisors, will be accepted as substitutes for official confirmation of the type of exam.

Notes

A copy of the applicant’s Tazkira (national ID) must be attached to the back of the registration form.

After being fully completed and confirmed, the registration form must be submitted to the respective university’s master’s program before the deadline specified in the form. (Submission after the mentioned date will not be accepted, and the applicant will not be scheduled for the exam.)
The applicant will be checked and shortlisted by the respective university’s master’s program (based on the compatibility of the field of study and the required percentage from documents).
If the information written in the registration form is found to be incorrect, the applicant will be referred to the judicial and legal authorities of the country for document forgery and fraud.
