PAKISTAN scholarships Exam dates Announced
The exam time for Pakistan Allama Iqbal Scholarship for Afghanistan is announced. If you have applied to this program, read the instructions below and find the sample questions at the end of this post.
The 2nd batch of this Scholarship was announced in July and the application ended in October 2024.
The physical /online test will take place on January 25-26, 2025. Afghan students residing in Pakistan can attend the physical tests at designated centers in Peshawar and Quetta, while students in Afghanistan will participate via an online platform.

How is the test and interview process?
Applicants should check their email and application for details of the test and the test for Afghanistan applicants who are inside Afghanistan is ONLINE. You should receive the instruction on how to access the test through email or your application. Applicants who are in Pakistan can attend the determined post for exam in Peshawar and Quetta, Pakistan.
How to access Exam platform?
Here is the details on how to login to exam platform:
- Check your email inbox and find the email you your received from Education Testing council (ETC) of Higher education commission of pakistan that indicate ” Award of Allama MOhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Afghan National Students.
- Find your Roll number and Password
- Check timing and date for exam whether it is on 25 or 26.
- Copy the link with “Authentication” word at the end and paste it in your browser, press enter and
- Enter your username and password
- Click login and enter your Roll number and password
- Click start test to begin.
Note: Read the instructions carefully which is shared with you through email.

The application process for the second batch was announced in October 2024, receiving an overwhelming response from across Afghanistan. A total of 20,806 students applied, comprising 15,791 males and 5,015 females, demonstrating a strong interest in higher education opportunities. The breakdown of applicants includes:
- Bachelor programs: 14,244 applicants
- Master’s programs: 5,946 applicants
- PhD programs: 616 applicants
Successful candidates will commence their zero-semester training in the first week of March 2025 at NUTECH and NUCES FAST, the same institutions that facilitated training for the first batch.
